Unicorns are amazing creatures. They are quite remarkable, i tell you. One of the most outstanding of all God's creations. Having the legs of a buck, the body
of a horse, the tail of a lion and with a single spiral horn on its head, a unicorn is one of those beats that you jes cannot overlook - unless the unicorn you saw was hand drawn by me when i'm on a dry fasting, in which case, you better overlook.
*the photo above from myhoneysplace shows a baby Unicorn*. Ain't it adorable? i think i should make plans to get one sef [thoughts].
They stand out among other creatures as a symbol of
VIRGINITY, PURITY & PERFECTION.
One other outstanding feature about
them is...THEY DO NOT EXIST (in reality).
*the photo above IS NOT REAL* sorry if i burst your bubble.
Most humans seem like unicorns, Virgin PERFECT in all that they do, and incapable of mistakes.
I used to see some people that way. I thought they never made mistakes. I wanted to be like them, and in my quest to emulate their UNICORNic nature, as I drew closer to some of them, i discovered:
“PERFECT PEOPLE ARE ONLY IMPERFECT PEOPLE THAT HAVE NOT BEEN CAUGHT
making mistakes”.
So many of ours have
that kind of (I-am-not-as-good) mindset. They therefore unconsciously
look down on themselves, placing themselves at a lower level than this UNICORN set.
PERFECT people are like Unicorns - they do not exist.
According to TITE KUBO:
“In this world, perfection is an
illusion. Regardless of all those who utter the contrary, this is the reality.
Obviously mediocre fools will forever lust for perfection and seek it out.
However, what meaning is there in perfection? None. Not a bit. ...After
perfection there exists nothing higher. Not even room for creation which means
there is no room for wisdom or talent either."
