YOUTH Is About Making Mistakes. WISDOM Is Not About NOT Making Mistakes

When i was young(er), aging seemed to be something that happened to only old people; But it happened to us all- oh shit!!! It’s happening to me.

Looking back now, i can see all the mistakes i have made. As a matter of fact, each year, i realize how stupid i was before. But that's part of growing up.

Now there is this theory that WHEN WE GET OLDER, WE GET WISER. That WISDOM COMES WITH AGE. I beg to disagree.

Because I Believe That:

Wisdom comes from good judgement, Good judgement comes from Experience, Experience comes from Bad Judgement, Bad Judgement comes from making mistakes.

We learn from experience and Youth, if you ask me is about making mistakes, as much as you can, and learning from these mistakes. 

One ish i have learnt is:  try not to beat yourself up with old mistakes and focus on making new ones. 

Be kind to thyself when you fuck things up- as you would, if you haven’t already. forgive and accept the fact that its all a part of growing older.
