These were the words of my room mate this morning while he was selecting beans…to prepare breakfast.
Just like some other guys i hang out with who unintentionally say something
worth thinking and writing about, he soon went on to say other not-worthy-to-write-about things. I just
could not let go of those words, so I asked him to clarify what he meant.
His Explanation,
“life is like a game of chess. Know when to be a king, know when to be a queen (for the females), know when to be a knight and fight. ..”
Being a no-chess expert, I went on to do a little
research on the components of a chessboard, and I realized…the guy has a point.
CHESS BOARD COMPONENTS & HOW YOU SHOULD APPLY TO LIFE:
"Walk like you are the king(or queen)
or walk like you do not care who is king."

I
do not know who said this but it basically drives home the need for to be self confident...to hold thyself in high esteem.
#2. BISHOP. Know when to be holy…or spiritual…or religious.
“just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.”- Mahatma Gandhi
“just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.”- Mahatma Gandhi
#3. ROOK. (means,
a swindler, a con, one who cheats). This may sound unholy
to so many folks out there but just learn to use your head...be wise as serpents!...and by the way,“The world lives on deception." just in case you haven't noticed.
“he will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight.”- Sun Tzu
